This is a small hardy evergreen fern that can cope with both dry or damp condition’s but not extremes of either they are ideal for making ground cover or in rockeries, containers, though they are happiest in the shade they can tolerate a certain amount of sun which makes them a bit more flexible then some other hardy ferns.
