A hardy evergreen fern that does not tolerate limy conditions so therefore must be grown in acidic to neutral pH soils, they can handle dry or damp conditions but again not excesses of either they are ideal for pots, it is a distinctive and elegant fern which stands out with its glossy leathery ladder like fronds.
