Dwarf Brazilian Tree Fern

This is a compact evergreen fern is not truly hardy although it can be grown outdoors in the most mildest parts of the UK with some protection it is most often grown indoors. The fresh fronds emerge as an intense red colour thus giving them their name before they mature and change to bronze through to  glossy green, they dislike lime so if you live in a hard water area remember to use rain water or add a couple of drops of lemon when watering and like all plants kept indoors a liquid houseplant feed applied 2-3 times a year can only help them remain at their best.
