Another hardy clump forming fern often classed as evergreen but in truth should be treated as deciduous, They have strong upright broad slightly arching fronds that emerge in the spring as a vibrant red/orange fading through from pink to bronze and finishing a pale glossy green.
They are low maintainable and easy to grow, they prefer a damp shady position and are ideal for border plantings or containers.
